Going off the rails : Lancôme Train Case GWP

So I've been a bit obsessed lately with all things beauty -- spending money on products that would be better spent elsewhere, given the economy. But I'm a girl that is hard-pressed to pass up trial sizes, gifts with purchase, and value sets.


Hence my purchase of the Lancôme Train Case.

I ordered mine online from Nordstrom in order to get the burgundy box, and I am glad I did -- it's beautiful! Really sizeable, and definitely reusable. But it also contains a cornucopia of goodies:

All extremely useable, with especially great colors on the eye shadows, and really useable lipstick shades. Nothing I hate more than a GWP with crap colors in them. So far, I have only used the blushes and the concealer, but the case + eye makeup remover (a Lancôme fan-favorite) are worth the price of admission ($49.50 with any $36 Lancôme purchase).

Jonathan Create Weightless Smooth No-Frizz Hydrating Balm

I received a sample packet of this product -- my hair is thick, wavy, and due to a few years of flat-iron usage, somewhat fried. Not horrible (I do not blow dry, and always condition), but the damage has made frizz a major problem. I've tried almost everything, and then stumbled across this as a sample on a sephora order.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Can't say enough good things about it. Makes frizz all but non-existent, does not weigh down my hair, leaves it pliable... it's supernatural. If I had one complaint, it would be that it's causing some slight breakouts on my forehead, but that's more an issue of sweating than the product itself. It's completely changed the way I feel about my hair. Buy it -- I just picked up a full size at Ulta.
